Since I LOVE Gokusen I though it would be nice to start a new topic on it ^^

Matsumoto Jun , Narimiya Hiroki , Oguri Shun (Yaguchi Mari's actual boyfriend), Ishigaki Yuma and Waki TOmohiro are the main male characters... along with Nakama Yukie.
Nakazawa Yuko is also in this drama.

Newly graduated Kumiko Yamaguchi wants to make her mark on the Japanese educational system as a teacher. All well and good until she finds out that the school she'll be teaching at has its fair share of troublemakers and rabble-rousers. The ruffians at the school don't frighten her though for she has a secret of her own-she's a fourth generation crime syndicate member and next in line to head it up. I've seen the anime, but it wasn't so good. Ofcourse theres a different between a drama and an anime. I was a littlebit interested in the J-drama but haven't took the time to download it yet.

If someone has seen the anime and drama, please tell me the different and which is better

I agree, only saw the first couple of episode of the anime, but it was fairly blah

But the anime had very colorful characters Funny that it felt more colorful than the anime. Maybe it's because I saw the drama first tho

i just finished watching the first season and the Spring Special. great drama. its one of my favorites.

Narimiya Hiroki is so adorable in Gokusen 1! Enough for me to giggle whenever he shows up.

I thought the ending to G1 finished too quickly. I can't remember the details, but this was my last thought after finishing the episode.

I'm checking out Gokusen 2. It's the same as Gokusen 1, but just more extreme. I'm up to episode 4. I like Gokusen 1 more though -_-... G2 only has pretty faces: Kamenashi Kazuya and Akanishi Jin from KAT-TUN and I somewhat enjoyed the events in the series.

When I first saw the previews that this was going to be shown I thought I would not be watching this but having given the first episode a chance I have been watching this every week since it started. It is shown here on Sunday nights at 9:00 pm subtittled. JDorama shows Yuko Nakazawa as appearing in it? Any info on that?

uhhh......gokusen.....it makes a tears drom from my eyes ^^ hahaha.......i like it, though at first i don't want to watch it, bcoz jun matsumoto plays on it....actually i don't like him.......but...he play a good role on it....and gokusen has a story that a little bit sentimentil hahha....so i like it

but 2nd ones are in 'raw'... hope you fully understand japanese ^^
or you can look for softsubs on the net.
