Yea it was cute for kids to do stuff like that.. heh.. at least its not extremely *weird*. Okamura does know his limits.. unlike other hosts (comedian, performers) e.g. Utaban.. which can sometimes be too aggressive.

I guess this is the part of the Japanese culture which makes them very amusing to us gaijins ^^. But this is also their way of building one's character.

I beg your pardon for bumping the shit out of this thread, but can anyone tell me what the music is when Okamura interviews each set of racers for the 50m foot race? It's a classical piece, very well-known in Japan and strongly associated with sports festivals. If someone were to help me out, they would have my utmost gratitude.
