Hi! well cus everyone loves free promotion heres my tumblr...
I made this blog awhile ago, but I just never got around to posting anything, so why not review the latest album heh??
So overall I think this was not as solid of an album as 12 Smart was, but there were definitely some better tracks and some worse tracks..
so without further adoooo
1. One Two Three - I don't think this should have been the album opener as it is a single, but none of the other songs could really qualify as an album opener imo. For the song, I don't mind the line distribution to be quite honest, because it is a catchy, techno, and progressive song which is about time for Momusu! 9/10
2. What's Up? Ai wa Do na no yo~ - I am not really a fan of this song, but I can't deny how well done it is. I'm glad almost everyone got a line, and the beat of the song feels progressive like OTT was but it doesn't have the techno beat which makes it likable by most fans:D 8.5/10
3. Be Alive - To be quite honest after hearing Sakura's version of this song, I am not really a fan of the group version, but like I said at first this album has song that were better than 12 Smart and songs that are worse than 12 Smart, I think this is one of the better ones. I am also glad that it was a mostly group song too.. 8/10
4. Lalala no Pipipi - The Sayumi solo song, it perfectly fits her! I don't think there is anything wrong with the song unless you aren't a fan of auto-tune, I don't think I like song as much as her last song Suki da na Kimi ga, but it is a huge improvement from her last real solo.. 8/10
5. Dokka~n Capprico - This song has grown on me, I used to think of it as just a rushed OK YEAH! but I am really starting to like it, it has the progressive beat with out auto-tune 7/10
6. The Matenrou Show - Gosh I just love this song so much, at first I was bothered by the line distribution, but the whole album hasn't really bothered me at all on that.. I think this song is definitely for the long term fans who maybe just aren't a fan of something like One Two Three. This song is the descendant of Souda We're Alive and Kono Chiykuu. 10/10
7. Zero Kara Hajimaru Seishun - As much as I love the fact that every member gets a line, all of these group lines are sounding amazing! But I wish they could have fit in 2 lines for Zukki, Eripon, Haurna and Haruka too :/ 10/10
8. Renai Hunter - Dubstep! something we saw in Kanashiki Koi no Melody and slightly in Only you has a single that is purely dubstep! I think it was a great send off for Gaki and in my opinion was a better song to send of Gaki then Kono Chikyuu was for Ai, not bothered by the line distribution as everyone sounds amazing, but sadly this is not a good single for Aika to graduate.. 9/10
9. Chikyuu ga Naiteiru - Not much of a fan of this song to be quite honest, it felt like a rock version of What's Up? and I think they could have given more people lines too.. Nothing really stands up except for the catchy part that sounds exactly like What's up? 5/10
10. Namida Hitoshizuku - Reina's solo! I think it is better than her first two. Something I have failed to point about a few tracks on this album is that there is a part of the song that just doesn't go with the rest, and I think that the opening really doesn't fit with the song. I wish it would have shown of her vocals a bit more because to be honest she is the best singer in the group right now 8/10
11. Waratte YOU! - I really love this song, my only complaint is that I think this genre is not the style I would really want to be representing the future of Momusu. But I love ho everyone gets at least 2 lines and Zukki is really able to shine here as is everyone else.. 10/10
12. PyocoPyoco Ultra - I really do love this song, The music video is the best one we have gotten since Shouganai Yume Oibito aka the first single to have an Another ver. since Shouganai Yume OIbito, the song is definetely the worst out of the 5 a-sides we've had this year, but I think it is better than anything we had last year 8/10
