Clay Charms and Idols~
I made these little guys (and a few other things) over the past few days while watching E3.
Aren't they cute?
Well, I think they are a little bit. I still need to work on perfecting them and then I will start making huge batches of these types of charms (and other designs I have in mind) and sell them at two local cons that come through my area each year.
I plan to start my own Etsy shop too.
There are lots of things of other ideas that I have but so far I have only made poptarts, popsicles, cream buns and eclairs, swiss roll cakes, and an ice cream cookie sandwich.
The little chibi you see is made in the likeness of a friend of mine, but I added a suit, tophat, and monocle because she always draws her stick figures that way.
In other news, I want to talk about two musume who have really been catching my eye as of late:
The One Two Three dance shot came out two days ago. I already talked about part of it on Tumblr, however, I am going to go into another aspect of it that has been bugging me.
I was really impressed with Mizuki and Haruna right now. I had drawn my member ranking chart the day and completed it a few hours before the dance shot came out and now I feel as though I must edit it.
It's not that I didn't like them before already. In fact, I really love them. It's just that when the 10kis entered, I had so many members I loved at once for different reasons that it was hard to rank them. Kanon, Masaki, and Ayumi will probably remain my top three for a little while because I love their personalities and their presence within the group. On top of that, they are quite talented, but even so I don't think they are quite as talented as Mizuki. I have always thought Mizuki will definitely bring her own flare to the group, and she really got her chance to SHIIIIIIIIINE in that dance shot even with the camera being mostly focused on Reina and Riho. I felt she outdanced them and outperformed them and it really blew my mind. She's mature, yet still maintains that classy, elegant, soft spoken H!P loving girl we know her as.
Haruna is really stepping up to the plate. I had my doubts when the 10kis were first announced and that Haruna was picked. But I figured with enough time she would grow on me and she has. She had a really hard time dancing and sing, but she has really pushed forward and became a true idol. She's got personality, she's nice and likes to engage with other people, and just has this overall aura about her that makes her super appealing. It could be that she is closer in age to me that I find her interesting. It's a lot easier to relate to an idol when their interests and personalities are similar to yours because of your age group. Plus, she looks fab in her One Two Three and in the dance shot. It was really surprising. Like "So this is Haruna now?" I like it. She's really trying and you can tell she has a passion for Morning Musume.
Now I must figure out my new ranking because it's been ruined by these two, LOL.
I'm sure lots of others can relate at the moment.
Back to the drawing board, I guess.
