I am also curious about what are the management plans for MM. The new batch of KSS are really young, I can't see them adding too many members from there. 

Plus if these older members already had plans to graduate and management were made aware of the plans, why they didn't plan to announce an audition soon to have some sort of a buffer.

 

 

The only thing is that they never add girls without auditions first (except Chii, but it was a transfer). I believe they will announce a new audition at the beginning of the Summer Con for the whole H!P with the results in december. Now, do they plan to add some KSS...with UPF we never know. I would love to see Itsuki.

The tour title is MORNING MUSUME.'25 Concert Tour Aki ~Movin' Forward~.

Starts 09/13 and ends 11/22.

 

The grads concert is either at the end of november or at the beginning of december.

Now, when do they plan to release a new single is a serious question. They have only one date between 10/13 and 11/03, it's on 10/26. So maybe the next release is on 10/22 or 10/29. If not then it's the last week of november/beginning of december (depending on the grads date).

^Ah yeah I skipped one line! But when you look on a calendar, it still is a 2 weeks period with less activities.

Glad they're not sleeping and making some effort (with the little buzz). Finger crossed they're releasing a single. I don't trust their release timetable... Missing the 3-4 single releases in a year...

I'd be absolutely livid if they had a double graduation (that again, has been in discussion since 2023!) and they didn't give us a banging single. We have plenty of time , so I'm not worried. But if UF let's us down, there'll be hell to play.

Today is the first day of the 12ki bustour, the performance in front of the campfire is worth remembering, especially with the suprise 😄

Seeing that there will be no b-sides on the new single got me wondering if this is the year with the fewest new MM tracks ever. And by my count, it is (of course depends what songs you want to include), so long as you don't count 1997. 

 

Count is below. My methodology is as follows. 

1. I tried to remove track that are just an instrumental, or spoken word. But I wasn;t super diligent about it so some might have made it through.

2.  Muten Musume, Sashining Musume, otomegumi, sakuragumi, Dream Morning Musume, 10th Anniversary unit, and Morning Musume 20th's songs all count as Morning Musume songs in my book.

3. Songs credited to Morning Musume on non MM albums are counted.

4. The musical songs credited as Morning Musume on petit bests are included.

5. The Fanclub solo CDs are counted as morning musume songs. 

7. No other unit or solo songs count, unless they appear on a morning musume album or single.

8. Remixes and rerecordings of the same song all count separately. Therefore JKM and Love Machine are each counted 5 times.  

9. In the rare case that a song was performed and/or recorded in one year, but not released until years later, I count it towards the year it was released.

I went to the show in Sapporo today. Compared to the last tour I found the gaps in the formation for missing members much less noticeable. Akane got a ton of solo's and center shots. She looked like she was suddenly the group's center. Since I haven't seen the other shows where Reina was present, I wonder if Akane got both of their lines all for herself? It seemed like a lot even for a graduating member, but I wasn't complaining. 

 

Teka happy no happy is electric as an opening song. Everyone was going wild trying to copy the dance. 

 

In the final MC, someone brought out a picture of Reina so she could participate lol. 

 

During the Necchin film part, the whole theatre went quiet and everyone took a bit of a rest. Just as the segment was ending, but before the girls came back on stage, someone yelled "Akane! Arigato!" and it got to me a little. I hope she heard it.
