apparently the guy was grooming a 15y/o girl while dating zuumin bc he was unsatisfied with her. there aren't direct translations of the chat logs but apparently he was asking for nudes and other sensitive stuff from the girl. HUGE yikes. if he was unsatisfied with her then it's most likely a shotgun wedding bc she's pregnant... really hoping the best for zuumin, this is awful

Okay, I watched the KoreKore where all this came out, and it's actually way, way worse than is being reported. It is very gross and very sensitive so I don't know if I will post about it, but it's real bad. He's a straight-up predator.

really wishing for zuumin's safety, this is horrible. especially since she's pregnant, i just really hope she can get out of this bc it won't end well

My concern is that, if she's already so lacking in self-esteem that she got into a relationship with him (the DV allegations were in 2019, so it's not like he had a lot of time to change his ways, if that were a thing he cared to do) and then got pregnant and decided to get married because having a terrible husband must be better than no husband at all, well, I don't know how or when she will find the capacity to leave.

His agency has ended his contract following the allegations. He confirmed to them that the timeline of events the girl provided are largely true, and they claim he has been in contact with the police.

According to an unnamed source, Yui has no intention of breaking off their engagement at this time. The victim of Mahoto claims that Yui is 5 months pregnant, due in June.

well at least he'd have a harder time with his career now without his agency, though considering he went back to being a youtuber seemingly fine after the dv allegations i doubt he'll have much of an issue again >_>

well his agency let him go after the predator allegations which is good, but yui's agency can't really do anything i think

That's so sad Idols are meant to be treated nicely not something to be messed with Idols don't just quickly become idols it's really hard first family then they have school and then they have to audition and then suddenly then they get abused the J-pop World is surely messed up it may look happy cool pinky musical and Kawaii but under that it's many other things going on

yeah its a really shitty situation, i'm hoping the best for zuumin but there's not much that can be done in situations like this unless something really bad happens. though the dude apparently is unsatisfied with her so hopefully they break up or something?? unlikely though since this seems to be a shotgun wedding. but well if they do break up being a single mother is definitely better than being a mother with an abusive husband so hoping for them to break up somehow, but i doubt it.

I heard about this few days ago. I'm worrying for the safety of Yui and the baby.

Both the DV and his predator behavior should send him in prison right now. I don't understand how he can be free...

 

Yui should run away. Unfortunately, I would not be surprised if something happens to Yui and/or the baby in few months/years. These people never change.
