I'm gladly surprised to see Nana in Media Senbatsu!!

No Muto Tomu? Didn't she break Senbatsu last year? Why Okada Nana, who ranked #29? Do they expect to see her climb?

I'd say her handshake sales are implying she'll rank higher than Muto Tomu so maybe they're making bets based on that. On this single by 4th round Nana Okada was sold out and Tomu was at 18/24. As a note Nana Okada was at 23/24 in the 3rd round and Tomu wasn't on the radar.(not that I think Tomu will rank badly at all! I really like her)
As a note that means she matches Mion for handshake numbers this time around.

Didnt AkiP say he will push Myao? She isnt even in media senbatsu.

Tomu will probably fall put of senbatsu this year looking at the promotion she is getting. It sucks because she ranked so high and still girls below her get more attention.

Actually, the fact is senbatsu election results only apply to the single for the result of the senbatsu election. It has no grounds against the other single at all. This is the fact already made known a long time ago by the management.

Myao is part of stage performance lineup, and she is part of senbatsu. That's a ridiculous amount of push for a girl like her.

Management have been too slow in recent time to look at actual popularity of the girls, and implement these girls in senbatsu. Basically you have a girl like Yuirii who definitely should be part of senbatsu - as well as media senbatsu - but who is not part of it. Naachan, Yuirii, Miion, to mention three girls, have done great in handshake events. In fact, so has Seichan too, another girl that is up and coming in rising popularity. So, as for Naachan, that she is in media senbatsu now is definitely deserved. She has done great in everything: Stage performances, TV shows, radio, handshake events, special events, and so on. 

 

With regards to election this year, Naachan has set herself a goal that in my opinion can only lead to failure: She wants to make kami7! That definitely shows ambition though, however hard it may be to achieve...

I'm probably going to sound really stupid ok.. but I just don't really familiar with 48G handshake system..

When a single is released, we'll get the media senbatsu..

All AKB48 members will be participating in the handshake right?

Even Kenkyuusei? Is there any girls not participating?

 

I also noticed sister groups' members also participate in HS.. Is it only the media senbatsu members only? is the member not participating in the single also involve in the HS?

 

I'm just a little confused

 

I anticipate that this single will sell like crazy.. based on the decreasing sales of the sister groups..

I'm happy if they got good sales but a little unhappy too because from what I've read, majority of fans not in favor of the song..

The good sales only show how much fans care for the SSK, not for the song..

But still some of the b-sides (I like team 8) are good..

I would've love if AKB48 got their own single while SSK/Janken single is a 48G single.. u know, like H!P all stars/ Mobekimasu..

& other singles are AKB48 only single.. No sister groups invasion even for b-side..

 

Keyazaki46 didn't invade Nogi46 right? I would've love a 46G all-star single with no invasion of each group own single..

Definitely not their best song. I thought Kimi wa Melody and Kuchibiru were watered down, but this one... 

 

I hope 45th single is better after all the fuss around SSK.
