I think what people mean is that she has that innocent, elegant yet slightly awkward image that clashes with the 'sexy'. I agree with whodes still - she pulled it off well nevertheless ....she isn't of 'badass sexy' sort (like for example Tomo) but more 'innocent sexy" (aka deer in the headlights lol), like Karin, imo.

Having said that, you can choose to not view Yanamin as sexy at all. I don't think the choreography in that song is that much different from other J=J songs...it's just that word in the lyrics xD

The thing that stood out to me about her from the very beginning (although it has gotten "better" over the years) is that everything she did seemed very controlled and not really natural. I guess the same thing applies here. It's not "natural" seeming. But it's not really her fault in this case. In my opinion the whole group struggles to properly perform a song that in itself is just soooo overdone.

^Yeah, she's better than most TF, which isn't that hard really, (I think Mizuho and Risa are just as good though) but she's just okay, improving I can see that, but not as good as the best H!P singers.

Well whatever it's just my opinion I'm not saying she's as good over all but i can see her getting there in a year or so. She has a unique style and has the most stability out of all of TF. I think if she keeps improving at this rate she will be in the top of H!P voices.

When someone asks what kind of music I like, I just say I listen to J-Pop idols and let them draw their own conclusions about what that means unless they ask for more details. In a relationship, it's bound to come up in a question similar to that, so an organic opportunity will probably present itself relatively soon. Anybody that knows me will learn quickly that I'm always listening to an endless playlist of Japanese girl groups, even if they don't understand the idol concept.
