Here in the states, it seems like a apology can go a long way. Some people are so inclined to overlook flaws just cos of denial

What stood out the most when I saw the video is the other bystanders. They didn't rush to help. They just watched and were like 'So that just happened.'

So I think it's possible for Hitomi to make a comeback. She'll just have to do some serious damage control

From what I remember, there were like 3 bystanders also crossing the street and they sadly didn't do anything.  I think all 3 of them were high school girls and they were probably just shocked, didn't know what to do, just worried about getting to school on time, so that's why they didn't help. It's sad, but that's how it is in Tokyo nowadays.  People dont want to get involved because it will cause them more problems.

Japan is strange.  When celebrities makes a mistake, they treat them like they got the plague.  Not saying that what Yoshi did wasnt serious, but they take things too seriously here.  Like there was that one celeb who got caught fooling around w/ another married celeb.  She was single.  But she had to apologize to the world and had to take a break from the industry.

In America, seems that when celebs screw up, they get even more popular.  And no matter what they do, besides actually murder, their career will just go on and on.  Justin bieber, for example, no matter how many times he screwed up -- getting drunk, getting into fights, trashing hotel rooms, vandalism, etc, his career keeps going on and on.

Again, what Yoshi did was seriously bad.  Just saying that the differences in how Japan and America treats their celebs when they make mistakes is totally opposite.

So sad...they had their final performance a few days ago.

I really wanted to go to it, but it was a few hours outside of Tokyo, so I couldn't make it.

I wish them the best of luck in their individual careers.

Wow, was watching the news and its crazy how much publicity this is getting.  There must've been at least 200 media/cameras waiting outside the jail or wherever she was being held.

They actually had a camera focusing on the door for over 30 minutes and kept saying she will be coming out soon.

And after she left in a black van, they even had a chopper follow the van.  Crazy.
