Eunhyuk is better afaik.

Preview for Shiwon's drama. Looks like cheesy fun. Some promo stills. And a photoshoot in High Cut.

He's a lot busier with solo stuff nowadays, presumably because he doesn't have SJ-M to keep him busy.

Going, if all goes well. Have an aunt in London who hopefully will be able to accommodate I and a friend for a night, so with tickets going for £20 and flights looking to be around €50/60, I feel like I'm getting a pretty good deal here.

Apparently the choreo for the dance battle was effectively stolen. The original choreographer doesn't mind but mentioned it on twitter. I'm getting the distinct impression now that SM believes SJ can get away with whatever it likes and no one will bat an eyelash, because with all the trouble they've been in recently, having a dance routine this similar to another choreographer's dance, without actually consulting said choreographer beforehand, looks really bad.

Last night, the 19th High1 Seoul Music Awards took place, where Super Junior picked up three awards. But it was also Super Junior member Kyuhyun’s 22nd birthday.

Anyway, during the awards show, Super Junior members celebrated Kyuhyun’s birthday at their table with a birthday cake. Netizens are appalled at this behavior, as they found it rude that they would do such an act at a prestigious awards ceremony. Their reasoning is that, instead of honoring and celebrating the artists who were winning awards on stage, they brought out a cake to celebrate Kyuhyun’s birthday. In addition, there was a magic show on stage from Lee Eun Kyul, but because of Super Junior’s celebration, all of the attention was shifted onto them, furthering the anger from netizens.

Netizens have been commenting, “That’s disrespectful to the award winners on stage,” “An award ceremony is a celebratory setting, but this type of behavior is too excessive,” “It’s disappointing to see that they can’t distinguish public and private matters,” “If they were rookies, would they have been able to do such a thing.”

It's not the nicest suggestion but I do wonder if SM faked Geng out, promising him he'd be able to spend the majority of his year in China, promoting the 2nd M album then chilling out as promotions eased off before he had to go anywhere near Korea again, then pulled the rug out from under his feet by telling him he was coming straight back to Korea to promote an album he doesn't even sing on. It's not enough of a reason on it's own to cause Geng's request for contract termination, but if he had been feeling hard-done-by, it may have been snapping point.

A lot of people seem to think he might be sick with a serious illness, but I don't think that's it. His health seems to be his main concern from his announcements, and I'm sure he feels he doesn't need SM so much anymore: tired of country hopping when he gets a lot of love in China. As well as that, if that was the case, SM would give him time off. Say what you like about them but they're not monsters: Donghae was in perfect health when he got time off after his father's death. If it was serious, Geng would getting the best healthcare SM could pay for.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure it's over and he's getting out unless the courts rule otherwise. SM would love to keep him, as he's their key to China, but they can't offer him too good of a new deal because it might just inspire some of the other people under their label to threaten the same. And if it was a better deal Geng wanted, he would have filed for revisions.

ALSO! Apparently Heechul has cried during Shining Star, every single time since the first Super Show II.
