Is this the last Mechaike special with MM?  Was there one in 2004?

It is the last full special. There have been smaller segments like the chorus club.

Don't forget, in 2004 they also did the national employee test on NFS 27 Jikan TV with the 4 Jumbo Baka participating (Mechaike's two top and MM's two top).
I think it's Mechaike's gift for Tsuji and Kago becoming W, cmiiw.

Also, the other time MM meets Gokuraku Tonbo aside from the Field Trip and this Sports Festival is at the 13-nin Gakkari X'mas, it's subbed.
