[Nizmo]

J-dorama for the most part really isn't all about being funny, but a mixture of comedy, romance, and whatnot, so I don't know if there is one that I laughed frequently while watching it, but the following are intended to be a comedy drama first so these would be on top.

Kiken na Aneki (Ito Misaki's ditzy role at its finest)
Hanayome to Papa (Ishihara Satomi is brilliant in her comedic timing)
Trick (Extremely quirky and funny dialogue and the in-drama relationship between Nakama Yukie and Abe Hiroshi is simply a classic)
Nodame Cantabile (funny as in physical comedy I guess)
Shimokita Sundays (Unlike most over-the-top comedies, this is just funny for some reason even though it really shouldn't be that funny, and Ueto Aya shows some good acting)

seeing so many ppl recommanding My Boss My Hero, i think ill get myself to watch it someday soon

Proposal Daisakusen isnt comedy focused, but htere were a lot of lol points too

I rarely watch comedy drama..but some of j-dorama I've watched have some funny scene..

Lost Time Life is pretty funny, in a quirky way.

Nodame is really funny as well, the characters are pretty good.

I don't know why I didn't check out this thread before yesterday, but I'm glad I did. Because of all the recommendations I started watching My Boss My Hero today and it's sooo great. So after I finish watching that I'll try to check out some of the others doramas mentioned here as well.

If nobody has seen it I highly recommend Densha Otoko. It's a real life story and is hilarious and heartwarming and my favorite show ever!

"Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" and "Mendol - Ikemen Idol" are both really funny j-drama series~
