A few of us have already said your interpretation of things are so far fetched and you choose to defend your opinions while saying your message didn't get ignored and you're having a better understanding of the song.

Since this is the Momusu general your studying is off topic and that’s just the hard truth. A full translation is fine but since you’re currently still studying your translations were not accurate.
A study thread might benefit multiple people and more experienced translators could pop in every now and then for feedback. Why not make that instead?

As I mentioned in another topic, I think Masaki is givin' us hints that she's gonna graduate soon. I don't really know her so her wearin' all black may just be a emo / personal preference thing
She is smart. She sensed that Riho was gonna graduate so Riho lied to her for whatever reason
The thing is, her leavin' soon will deal a serious blow to the band IMO
She seems to be quite popular among the fandom

As far as time spent in the band, I think Mizuki will be next. I think Erina has a lot of skills so they're gonna want to show that off

I've seen different translations for my favorite song. That's how Japanese is
I mainly use a online Japanese-English dictionary to translate songs
For example: 言い過ぎた
I saw it translated as 'go too far'
It's 'go too far (in saying)'
It can mean a couple things
For my translation, I think I should say 'too critical' (from 'criticize too severely')

That literally means "said too much". If you want to change the literal meaning, you have to be careful of the context.

Japanese is definitely a language that can't be translated literally, or else a lot of meaning is lost.

I wish there was more instrumentals of MM songs. It's really hard to hear the music itself when there's so much vocal layered on top of it. Even if y'all don't sing, I highly recommended listenin' to the instrumentals
