Why's the anime stopping? .

I don't want a&k to end but if they were kept on under a different name, wouldn't they lose the energy of the group?
The songs are obviously themed for the anime so if Tsunku wrote different types of songs for them under a new name, it wouldn't be the same. .
Anyways, remember at the 2008 Wonderful Hearts Tour, Sayu & Risako did a ver. of W's 'Robo Kiss' so maybe a&k will still perform their songs at concerts even when they finish. .

Gaki is the leader of this group... and It isn't the leader that decides whether they will continue with groups such as Athena & Robikerottsu, It is either Tsunku or the head of UFA

No, I mean when Risa's leader of Morning Musume, maybe she could suggest the continuation of a&k songs at tours? .
Do leaders get a say in songs at tours?

^ I'm pretty sure they don't. I think the setlists are made by Tsunku.

Besides, the A&R name likely belongs to the anime company that produced it.

^^Leaders don't really do much in terms of music.
They're more there to represent the group in tv shows and such.
No singers in H!P have much control of their music either.
Also A&R weren't popular (their singles sold very low numbers)
And so they wouldn't be bought back due to public demand.

Yossie was once captured wearing a "Queen" T-Shirt. Can you imagine what would happen if she tried to write a song like "Another one bites the dust"?! What's more, Mitsui Aika was captured wearing a Yossie T-Shirt. If she wanted to write her own song, I just don't wanna think about the outcome

I'm so sad that the anime ended, this was one of the best H!P groups ever! I'd so love to see an album from them, but I really don't see it coming.

I listened to Seishun Love Lunch for the first time in a long time today (I don't have an audio file of the song), and now my sadness about this unit disbanding has been renewed.

I also listed to Shouri no Big Wave for the first time in a while, and I found that it still captures the same feeling it did in me when I heard the preview of it the first time in spite of all of the times I've listened to it.

Seishun Love Lunch is the best song ever.
Even though its silly title.
I really would love an album with like solo songs for each members.
But I cant imagine it happening.
The low single sales would translate to even lower album sales.
As singles sell higher because fans by both limited and regulaar and limited A etc editions (ESPECIALLY H!P FANS)

Gaki better get more lines in momusu songs now that this group is pretty much finished, I mean what is wrong with tsunku!!!!
