Oh........ I'm totally not feeling this song at all. It just sounds messy, like it doesn't go anywhere. It sounds like third a-side material, to be honest. It reminds me of Wolf Boy and Bouya.

The "are you happy?" lines are definitely not Miki. Haachin probably.

 

This song is a complete mess, which means that once we get a HQ rip, I will immediately love it. All the weird disjointed parts haphazardly sewn together remind me of the construction of Wakuteka/Brainstorming/Help me!!/Kimi Sae. This is such a Tsunku creation. Also, who the hell thought this was a graduation song? That fan report that said it "gives an impression of graduation" needs to get their hearing checked.

I liking both this song and A Gonna, but at the same time it feels like Tsunku gave them a rough draft version of the songs. It probably could have used some more time in the oven.

The "are you happy" and the giggling at the end feel like they're just samples.

I don't hate it but also don't think it's good...so tired of lines being so repetitive though.

It has potential of having a cool fast dance but considering A gonna my expectations for the choreo are small.

I'm interested in those high notes during that...messy part. It'd be nice if those are Live.

As for the Are you happy? I'd say Haachin could be. If I had to say other member that sounds like that maybe Fukuchan? But it feels like Haachin the most. Ofc sometimes it sounds nothing like the member cause of the amount of effects added.

Hated "Are you happy" for the first few seconds and then slowly.....like magic it caught my interest. The song is indeed a mess but it's great. The "koko kara dashite" parts are addicting.

Thanks Aruki I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks it’s Haachin saying those lines My reasoning for this is because those feature all through the song and if it really was written with Haachin in mind it would make sense to give her the speaking line that features a lot in the song as well as the laugh at the end If they include it as part of their next single I can just picture the parts in the official music video where Haachin says “Are you happy?” and the part with her laughing at the end. It has the potential to be one of their most viewed songs if they officially release it as part of their next single so long as it gets a decent enough music video.

 

I saw a discussion on twitter yesterday and a fan mentionned a Japanese report. He/she's not 100% sure, but he/she think it say that the "Are You Happy ?" are actually Haachin and Maria.

Yeah, I read about that I was talking to someone on Twitter about this and I was saying that it would be a pretty cool legacy to leave with the group if the last “Are you happy?” and the laugh at the end are Haachin, that way every time Morning Musume perform this song after Haachin’s graduation her laughter will be heard at the end of every performance

I'd like something like Dokyu Go Sign where Harunan had the 1st and last short part since it's her graduation + the laugh. It would make sense since her "Watashi" is in the 2nd part of the song.

I finally listened to Are You Happy and man I love it. As somebody who loved stuff like Bouya (mentioned earlier) I’m living for this cool EDM musume. Can’t wait to see this performed live!
The lyrics are actually very Haachin too - Stuff like I want to be happy, I put in effort, I love, I’m Lonely, Get out of here, I want us to be together etc
Sounds like the struggle Haachin would have gone through deciding to leave.
