So cool! About time another member moved towards the front! And Miki is perfect for that, even if I expected Maria to be the one lol

Maria did have some push but overall, I think Miki had the most spotlight for when it comes to the stage and MVs. Which makes sense, she is the one with the voice and the moves, so it only makes sense for H!P to utilize her.

She sounds so good and her vocals are always reliable. I think that management gave her a chance when Maachan was out and they were very pleased with her performance skills hence giving her more lines in this single. Tbh, she's at Fuku/Saku level and can easily help carry the group in regards to vocals. Plus she looks so good in the Dokyuu MV .

She should improve her facial expressions though, sometimes she has that awkward look while singing. Maachan and Sakura can help her with that.

It took some pretty long time for Sakura to get good so hopefully Miki will also experience that change. Maa-chan before felt like she didn't get in the songs' mood properly somehow but she made a huge change.

I feel like with energetic/genki songs she's doing alright, it's the more serious ones that she's having trouble with. I'm sure she'll get better

Yeah Sakura had that same issue. I remember thinking Miki reminded me of Sakura in PVs since she had like, one face only especially in serious/sad songs. But since I experienced the change I wasn't going to be hard on Miki since she'll get there eventually. It would be a bit annoying in both cases of they were the sole center but that didn't happen so.

She isn't as stiff as before and with this new opportunities she'll get there faster.

Also I think Maria is pushed kinda equally just, differently. She isn't forgotten in all songs even if she isn't lead and she has them PBs, among other things. We just give a lot more importance to lines and who are the leads.

Maria's pushed as the visual of 12th gen with photobooks, magazine shoots, TV appearances, and being in the front row 90% of the time, but Miki's definitely pushed as the talent of 12th gen. I'm so glad those two were chosen because they really create a balance between them and Hagachin. Miki will probably become more like Sakura, not one of the most popular girls but the most represented in singles.

As long as she's keeps getting these type of pushes, I'm happy with H!P's promotion for her in music area of her idol career. Still do want to see her do more TV stuff, she has a good personality to work with and she does do her TV stuff every now and then but she could still use more of that spotlight.

If Miki matures the way Sakura did in her looks, I really hope the company considers giving her a solo photobook. By that time, she'd be a lot older (hopefully 19-20) where no one would bat an eye at her wearing swimsuits as long as the poses aren't overly provocative. She has a really pretty smile so I honestly hope for more magazine content from her in the future.

Yeah, that's a lot more accurate, it was one of the main things we commented on when it came to her expressions is when we saw photo shoot pictures of her. But on stage, her expressions were always consistently good cause she was just simply enjoying herself as an idol singing and dancing.
