Sadly the Samidare video is down, anyone care to share a link?

And I loved Maachan's voice in Aa, Subarashiki Hibi yo. Sometimes, her voice is a bit too whiny for her own good, but here she sounded great! Pleasant to the ears and was the best singer in the group (duh! I know). I hope she keeps this style of singing in the future.

I'm still waiting for my copies to arrive...

from few performance that I saw from YT..

Sato no Akari : I absolutely love both Maachan & Uemu in this one... Bias maybe.. Loved it when Maachan used her lower tone (?). Doesn't sound squeky as her usual idoly voice.. Not that I hate that type of voice but this one sounds better..

Samidare: I don't really care about the 3 seniors but Sakura & Mizuki obviously overshadowed them. Sakura especially. Loving J=J version more though.

Aa Susukino: My favourite Smileage song for this year. Meimi stands out so much.. Her expression. I cant believe she is just 15 years old. Rina is the opposite, she looks lifeless.

Kenkyusei 'Çrying': I cant believe I loved this so much. Very H!P. Putting aside those horrible costume. Now I really want to buy their album. Hopefully it will be available in CD Japan or HMV.

C-ute Watashi Choito urbanchou (Smileage cover) : As expected from c-ute. They delivered such a powerful performance.

Berryz Crazy Kazenna Otona (C-ute cover): Not as strong as C-ute. I guess it is because I was so used to C-ute's version & their strong dance. Listening Risako singing Airi's lines is just weird.

MM14 1-oku Diet (Berryz cover): WOW!!! Am I bias again to say that I absolutely loving this song now after seeing MM'14 performed this? I actually hated this song before. Zukki center is GREAT!! Riho & Mizuki is freaking hot! Riho with straight hair is gorgeous. The dance is much better. Riho is still great even if she's not center. Please do not stop. I want more back girl center please..

Smileage & J=J Help me (MM cover): Vocally this is better than MM. And for dance I like MM better. I'm so tired to see this song performed by MM, so it is refreshing to watch other group performing this

Yume Miru 15: *bias alert* Maachan & Uemu in a shuffle together is always delightful to me.. Maachan looks super happy performing this song. Great one...

Golden chinatown: I hated this song, nothing special to me.

Cinderella Complex: Awesome performance! Riho is awesome! Ayumin is super sexy. I feel bad for paying too much attention to Ayumin's 'back' lately.

Be happy: Fun performance. Mizuki sure is gorgeous lately. I can't take my eyes of her.

Loving you too much: I loved this performance. The rapping sounded a bit weird though. Dawa is adorable.

Busu ni naranai: Not my favourite song. I basically only watched Ayumin. She sounded better but bit shouty at the end of her lines. Others sounded great though.

Odatomo: Sounded great as usual. Awesome vocal.

Smileage Chikyuu: I love this song a lot. I don't know if I dislike Rina or what but everytime I see her, I felt like she is not even trying. Her expression looks dead to me. Like her mind is not there. Other members looks like they give their all into their performance. Well maybe it's just me...

Momoiro kataomoi: So Sayu!! definitely fit Sayu.. Loved the 'Sa Yu Mi Mi Min' in the middle..

Overall, the shuffles is exciting as expected... Cant wait for next year..

Ooooh, Maachan sounded sooo great when she sang the first verse of Aa Subarashiki Hibi yo!! ... too bad her voice switched to grating once again when the chorus starts. I guess she can't help herself but to resort to screeching when the tone is high .... it's true, she's one of the few in MM to even reach these tones, but at the sacrifice of sounding nice - at least to my ears.

BTW, since we got Odatomo and Sato no Akari - is there a Triplet performance, too?

Watching the Blu-ray now (for the yappari).
Some clothes makes the girls look like a grandma.
For example: Akari in Yume Miru 15 performance.
Maasa in Samidare Bijo ga Samidareru

Risako in Kimi wa Jitensha watashi wa densha de kitaku

^ I really liked Risako's outfit in Yappari (^^)!!

After watching both I think Korezo is my favorite one out of the two.
Yappari had some interesting and good shuffles but I kinda find that the girls performed a bit better in Korezo.
Bitter&Sweet's new single is really good btw <3

I was wondering why H!P management keep running franchise signature concerts in small venues? If I'm not mistaken then this one was shot in Nakano Sun Plaza. Isn't it hotel?!? No premium feel whatsoever. And it's not that they can't fill bigger venues with H!P family events. Satoyama concerts over past couple of years have managed to fill arena size venues.

Also social networking marketing works a lot better when fans can post on FB/twitter that they went to see a concert in Yokohama arena/SSA.

Also H!P family concert should last it longer. Typical H!P concert duration is about 2h while for example G48 main concerts are in 3-4h region for same ticket price. So AKB fan will get better bang for buck. Yes bigger arenas are more expensive to rent, but they can reduce number of concert performed in different cities. Final product will look a lot better in news reels and BD/DVD releases.

Sorry if it came out sort of rant-ish, but I felt I need to spit it out...

The problem with HelloConcerts is that there are more fans of one group than of the whole H!P family, and those don't want to watch a whole concert where their group/idol appear little times and have to watch other groups performing. That's why it's safer for them to hold it in Sunplaza-like venues.

^ I don't think it's the reason. They could fill bigger arenas. Like I said so far they tend to run up to 3 H!P group concerts in one day or 2 concert over the weekend per day. While there might be some hardcore fans who attend all concerts I think most of the fans still see only one concert.

I'm pretty sure it's more about economics. It's a lot easier to rent one small venue for one day and milk fans for multiple concerts compered to renting bigger arena for one single concert. My main point is that they should consider making H!P concert truly one of a kind premium rare events only in Tokyo. So it will  generate a lot stronger image for brand across media.

Not to say this is always the case, but I did notice when I went to the H!P Summer concert in Osaka, it definitely looked like most people stayed for both concerts (me included). I doubt it's the same in Tokyo, when they have 3 shows in the one day/more than one day of concerts, but I'd still say it's common for people to go to multiple, especially now that they're using the two setlists. Honestly I'm surprised they don't do some kind of a deal/package for when they have two shows back to back with the two setlists.

I just watched some of the performances on Youtube and just wooowwww~~~~!

Honestly, I think some of the groups performed better when performing other groups songs rather than their own! MM's version of 1-Oku Diet was amazing!! Zuuki rocked it!!! I'm so proud of her! I personally think, although the song is Berryz-ish, it also really fits MM to a T. Like they could have gotten the song instead. I think Tsunku's been doing that a lot this year and last, where all the songs are interchangeable group-wise. Before it was like, each group had a sort of style, and so their songs were THEIRS, you really couldn't see the song being sung by another group because it fits the original group so well. Or you'd hear a group sing a new song and it'd be like, "No, this fits ____ so much better, this is definitely more of a _____ song!".  Now, it's like any group could get the songs, because it's rare that they have that individual style anymore. Like all the groups are the same song-wise, music-wise.

Anyways. I also felt Berryz performance of C-ute's Crazy Kazen na Otona was pretty fantastic as well. As much as I love the girls, I find them weaker live than C-ute. Aside from Miyabi, Saki and Momo (and occasionally Risako), I've never found any of the girls to be strong vocally, and Berryz often bore me live because their dances are so simple, and I find the girls don't own the stage the way C-ute does (actually, Chinami and Yurina talked about this on their radio show from the time of the Berikyuu Budokan performances in September, and agreed that the two groups have very different performance styles). But this performance was great - everyone rocked their lines (Miya!) and they performed the dance well. Actually, it make me extremely sad, because all in one go I realized how much I was going to miss Berryz, and how great of a group they really are when given the opportunity to be as good as they can be.

As for the Help Me!! performance, I would have rather seen the groups individually do different covers rather than combined to do this one, but it was a strong performance nonetheless. I'm tired of seeing this song performed live though. And C-ute's performance just down right rocked, as usual. I don't think I've ever heard Maimi's voice go that deep before, I was blown away!

I could say so much more, but these were the highlights for me of the performances I've seen. I'd love to download the concert to watch it properly (since I can't buy the DVDs at the moment...) but I can't torrent so, it sucks that there isn't alternate ways to download these concerts and other things that don't involve torrents (or sketchy downloading sites!!), like mega or mediafire.

Anyways, great concert! I love seeing the girls shuffled up, but I'm hoping the H!P concerts for next year have something different. They've been doing the same style and formula for a few years now, and it's getting stale...
