So it seems the Live performances will be shown in UPCOMING instead of H!S. So I guess if this is the case they did manage to make H!S more boring.

I like it better this way, at first i was like "Oh... :|", but i noticed that i enjoy it more now that everything is more ordered(?
I also like the hair arrangement because they aren't doing it themselves.

I suppose that's one area where I'm more of a beneficiary than others since I tend to skip past most of the live performances on a first watch.  Outside of new music video previews, I try and listen to the talky stuff first and then watch all of the performances at once.  Conversely with Upcoming, in the past I'd skip through to hello project related making/recording segments and not watch most/any of the other segments.  If their goal was to get me to watch more of both shows, the recent format changes have worked in an odd way.

It was nothing serious, don't worry   they announced a new song the 5 of them would be singing in a week or so if I understood it correctly, and showed some clips of them recording the said song

It kinda made me roll my eyes. Like I don't know what they were being told but KF doesn't scream group of slackers.

Kobushi hadn't even had a new single in a year, so if it seems like they're going through the motions (however silly that notion is at this point) it would be understandable with nothing to challenge them in the past year aside from the live performances they've already been doing for years even prior to forming the group.  Pushing them to not give up the same drive that they had as kenshuusei now that they've been in a group for a few years is less of an accusation and more of a harsh pep-talk.  It was heavy-handed and overdone in its execution, but I think it was just a rather forced attempt at manufacturing drama to drive a narrative for whatever goal or challenge they plan to establish for the group.  Thankfully, the girls didn't seem as put off as some in the past have been at their recorded scoldings.

 

Edit: Just to flesh out the thought, is that goal or challenge ever *not* budokan?
