For some reason, Kana did not stand out for me in the auditions. But now that she's in, I have gone back and watched her audition footage a few times. Maybe it's the fact that I am no longer distracted by the uncertainty of the outcome, but in any case I can now focus on her charms. This girl has so much potential, and now seeing her pic standing in with the rest of S/mileage, she just... fits.

I love her already. Can't wait to see/hear more of her.

I didn't pay her that much attention in the audition but when I saw her in with the 4 other girls, I was like : Wow she has potential!
I'm sure we'll be surprised by what she can give because her singing is actually good

Glad to see her here! While she's not my top favorite, I was strangely attracted by her for some reason. There's two moments that really attract me to her, I especially love her "meccha sukiyanen!" in the second round. And her introduction footage when she walked to the camera carrying her luggage, I was thinking how different she looks simply by letting her hair down. Looks like the one in charge of her makeover will have a fun day with her. lol

By the way, her make up was really thick yesterday.. =/ Why, make-san!

I noticed some people around were saying how Kana didn't do very well, but she actually sang better in the second round. She and Fuyuka were in the first group of 4 to come in, unless I accidentally skipped a group when rewatching it.

Most people are looking only at the 3rd round to judge the capabilities, but the 2nd round also showcases them.

I think she did pretty good like her singing is pretty average and stuff she just was nervous/needs more energy?
Kanana can def carry a tune and stuff though, which is greatly appreciated!

i don't think she did badly.. well, she did forget the lyrics, but lots of them did. she's not too off pitch which is good, and i think she's got a cute personality. genuinely, not forced. when she talked to tsunku, she laughed a lot. adorable

I can't wait to see her on stage and on more shows and such. I think after Kana I'm really warming up to the sub members

Light blue did match her but Ayaka is already blue.
I really don't like the dark and light thing with colors.
