As much as I didn't like her graduating I have to admit it was a great choice for her. She sounds better than ever, and she was already amazing to begin with  :wub:

Don't want to jinx it but she is of the few in the past years that graduated that I'm like YES amazing as in, she went to another company and is climbing the ladder with her obvious talent.

And fans can keep up with her via twitter /not most int fans ofc but she isn't mia/ and the footage of the plays. And luckily in full view with 2nd gen members in their blogs and her blog so it shows how close they still are ♡ Hope she keeps it up ♡

I agree with the above.  Sad, but needed... Meimi needs to spread her wings and she certainly will keep doing so!!

 

Woah, those clips look like illegal recordings... I thought they were very strict on cameras in Japan... unless this was underground promotion from a rehearsal (you could hear many camera shutter clicks, which would confirm that it's a press release event)?

^ The title includes the word "ゲネプロ", which is GenePro and the same word that is used by H!P for the final dress rehearsal before the first performance

So this is most likely from a open rehearsal of the play for the press

The channels that uploaded these videos also seem to be officials channels that upload news about plays/theater/musicals in Japan

^ ah, ok, my suspicion was correct in the end.  Cool.  Well removed from the context of the play it didn't grab me at all, but I'm sure it's cool.

Meanwhile, I just discovered this artist Ryoko Hirosue... listen this song (close your eyes) and tell me you don't hear a young Tamura Meimi voice!!  :o

I uploaded a few brief scenes from the play, just to give people a taste in case you haven't seen.

 

First: Brief scene demonstrating that despite her dynamic range of talent, Meimi Tamura can still be the jubilant Meimi we know since her days with s/mileage & Angerme.

 

 

This one shows Meimi in one of the most beautiful hairstyles from the play. A light scene of having some drinks to be followed by some Karaoke.

 

 

Here's a light scene that shows Minako at a cast audition that doesn't go too well.

 

 

 

And in case you couldn't see the previously posted clip of her singing, I've uploaded it to YouTube (link below).  We'll see if it stays or not due to copyright.
