Well, it seems that my mission to avoid listening to any of the songs before the album arrives at my house has failed.
That is not at all what I was expecting for a song with "ningyo" in the title, but I actually quite like it so far. It is much more interesting than what I thought it would be, and it has a cool, almost jazz-like tone. Their voices sound a little too high pitched for my particular liking (though it makes sense since Tomoomii and Amina are in this song), but it might just be the quality of the rip. Overall, I'm pleased. I can't wait for this album to be released! Thanks for posting!

And, just a question that maybe someone can answer: is the Team B Oshi song on this album the same as the one from Team B's 5th Stage? Are we to assume that it is the same/basically the same song? Because, honestly, I hope it is. I love that song!

^ Hmm, they aren't exactly my favourite members, but it could have been worse. ><
I guess this picture was chosen because most people would be happy with it. I mean, really, there cannot be many AKB fans who hate Miichan or Sae.
It is a very cute photo! The candid-style ones are always the best.

So far, I really like Shoujotachi Yo and Boku ni Dekiru Koto. Boku ni Dekiru Koto sounds sooo awesome. Team K never cease to amaze me, really...

Wagamama Collection is stuck in my head right now! >.< Haha! Shoujotachi yo and Kaze no Yukue are probably my favourites so far. Maybe Kimi to Boku no Kankei. And maybe Boku ni Dekiru Koto.

So far there was no song that got me at first listen. I will listen to the album a few more times and I'm pretty sure that most of those songs will grow on me

Iikagen no Susume and Boku ni Dekiru Koto for me is the best unit song and team song in the album.. The voices of the members in Iikagen really compliment each other.. The only song that I sort of don't like is Renai Circus..

Yeah, Team B's songs (especially the team songs) are tend to be much more fun to watch rather than just listened .

Hope there'll be a perf for this song soon (in future LODs maybe?)

^lucky, I bundled my album with the Blu-ray (along with my Everyday Katyushi and MM's 'Only You)...so it won't ship for like 2 weeks.

I'm curious what the CDJapan first press photos look like, it says "one selected from 14 types"

My copy was shipped out yesterday I haven't even heard any of the songs from the album except for the singles but it's AKB48 so I really don't care

EDIT: Today's estimated sales for AKB48 - Koko ni Itakoto are 321,108 (#1)

To be honest I think the 1st day sales would've been a lot higher if it hadn't been for the amount of singles that were on there but it's only the 1st day so they could probably reach 600,000 - 800,000 by the end of the week

Albums sell less than singles for the simple reason of price. Unless the album is a 4-CD best of compilation then don't expect too much. And 300K plus first day is not bad. Last week's number 1 sold only 200K plus.
