I guess anything that is not Japanese or at least not H!P related is ok. Just tell us a bit about the song/group, or whatever, really. Even if it doesn't come from your country, as long as it's foreign in some way.
__________
I'll start by posting this song that's stuck in my head. It comes from the Mexican pop group, "Kabah." It was released in 2000. I remember listening to it on a trip to Mexico when I was about 9.
Kabah - Antro
I still like the song. It brings back memories.

I listen to a lot of songs from various countries as well. Right now, I'm really getting into a Brazilian artist by the name of Luan Santana. (I've sense found out he's the equivalent to country in America; which is amusing because I pretty much hate country except for a few artists, yet adore Luan Santana). So far, this is my favourite song by him. "Adrenalina." (In English, "Adrenaline.") The lyrics are amazing if you translate them from Portuguese to English. "Meu coracao ta disparado // meu corpo ta viciado // nessa louca adrenalina que me faz arrepiar." "My heart is on fire // my body is addicted // that crazy adrenaline makes me shiver," if memory serves me right.
ETA - Lazy, that song is really good.
Why do the Spanish seem to have better music than the English? :c

^thats the original version, and the last year the singer (Jhovan) made another version (even nicer) from the song as he's going as soloist now

Great to see another swede
I'd recommend Kent. I have no idea if they're famous overseas, because some people say they are and some people say they're not. They're really famous here though.
All of their songs are swedish, but I know they've made some remakes and turned the songs into English. I haven't heard them yet.
I really recommend their album "Tillbaka Till Samtiden" ("Back To The Present" according to Wikipedia).

Now I'm sharing another song that comes from Mexico. The language being Spanish, of course.
ARTIST: Jeans
SONG: Corazón Confidente
YEAR: 2003
This is another song that I remember from my very early teenage years. It's very pop-ish, but it brings back memories. I still really like it now. If I remember correctly, the group started in 1994 when all of the girls were young teenagers. In 2008 they officially disbanded. The group went though a few member changes.

Ellie Goulding - Your Song (Elton John cover) - recently been doing pretty well in the UK charts
Cheryl Cole - Promise This - The media call her the nation's sweetheart. I think it's odd really, she seems to be a love/hate thing, most people I speak to seem to be annoyed by her. This song may annoy you, but after hearing it so much, it's catchy
I'm not posting any of the rap crap constantly charting in the UK. I don't think any genre of music has pissed me off as much as this does. If you're curious, try Tinie Tempah, Chipmunk, and Tinchy Stryder, to name a few. You've been warned though
Credit goes to Cassandra for this beautiful set
Finally saw Rika on 27/05/10 at the H&A Concert in London
