*searches for, finds, and uses an online conversion site*
It's 88*F (31.11*C) where I am right now in South Texas. It's supposed to get up to 100 (37.78) this afternoon, and it's supposed to get up to 105 (40.56) this weekend.

Yea thats the reason why i usually only have one of my computers on.Apparently, I need to rethink my file/video servers, because I guess they're pretty good heat pumps ;D? (the wall thermometer pegged out over 90, but I think that it was more like mid 80's or so).

It's ok during winter when you can instantly correct the temparature by opening
the window.
And before you say indoor AC they are not common here since they are
usually not needed with a temperature of 25C considered as hot
plus electricity is expensive...

Actually, it's more like it just happens that the way my apartment faces, it gets little to no air circulation. Unless of course I'm trying to sleep then the window shutters rattle like there's no tomorrow. Usually when I get home, all I have to do is turn on the kitchen vent fan (yes, the only fan I own) over the stove and that's enough to suck cool air in from the outdoors...

I also use a laptop for torrenting to reduce powerdraw. desktop HDD's are actually fairly high power draws. A couple of HDD's alone probably draw about as much power as one laptop, and that's not to mention the desktop cpu, vidcard, m/b, etc. I wish there was a way to force an HDD to idle. So this way you don't have to keep spinning the HDD u aren't using ...
