No Hitomin thread yet, but I wanted to share her g+ video exploits in the past day. I'm probably in the vast minority regarding her impact on NMB Geinin!, but I don't know that anyone stood out to me than she did. Now, granted, she was one of the only ones who I wasn't already familiar with, so maybe it's not entirely fair to judge it that way?

She seems to have a very keen sense of humor and can use her voice in a lot of different ways. Definitely a good find to put her on Geinin!. I'm looking forward to her future opportunities.

I find her to only have one gear when it comes to jokes though. But I can't help to laught every time she does something Still so young... how insane will this become in the end?

There was some Aruaru show on Ustream where she showcased her talent for about 10 minutes none stop and that was hillarious. Unfortunately the link is not working as I would like it to now...

She really looked lost and confused when most of her gags got a warm, or even great reception. Which is reasonable because the Kansai people are a lot more strict when it comes to these (even in the team M performances, she struggles to get some laughs sometimes).

 

Also, she actually perfectly fits in with the cutesy type of image, and would probably have been even more effective with it if her voice was a little higher.

 

She also mixed in a Yamamoto Sayaka joke towards the end. lol

I loved her appearance in Anta Dare? It always seems like NMB girls are so down to earth and serious when they stand next to AKB girls, I've always liked that.

 

Yepp, she is cute like an slightly awkward looking angel but doesn't try to force that image.

I updated her G+ all the freaking time because the official site never updated her participation and just before the deadline she gave us this:

What election? Yamamoto Hitomi doesn't care, Yamamoto Hitomi doesn't give a s*it

 

And not a single line about the election in her latest blog either.

Her blog entry for yesterday night actually touched the subject this time though, and she basically mentioned the same things as Kishino, being that she wants to focus on becoming a senbatsu member of NMB before stepping towards the greater stage.

This is a luxury that some of the sister-group members can afford to do. Turn down something this big to declare their intentions for their own group and it will draw attention to them. She is on the edge of Shiro/Aka-gumi and was in the latest Teppoudai-unit so why not. I wouldn't mind if it had the sought after end result

 

Oh, and the ancient stats on the official site are...yes, ancient.

 

It tells us that she is stuck at 147.5 cm but reality moved on to 158.5 cm I ask for a physical check up as bonus content for the next single or at least that they keep these things up to date.

I think those stats are only updated yearly, including their profile photos. It explains why the members can't change their profile pictures on Google+ and such.

It was just announced during the end of the Team M performance today I think. Other members from Team M and girls from N and BII have already commented about it, so it's most definitely true.

 

She will most likely write about it on her blog soon.

Hitomin has a ton of potential, truly one of the girls that NMB should not lose.

 

Such a stupid thing to say that she won't take part of the election because she wants to focus on senbatsu etc. etc. first.

Then why graduate?

 

NMB needs girls who are willing to stay.

Looks like she wants to solely focus on studying.

 

Her reasoning is basically:

 

"After working with other people in the industry and noticing all the people who work in various fields that shined while they performed their duties, I began to think that I wanted to become like them too. In order to do this, I have to focus solely on my education. And to do this, I have to announce my graduation. After working my way up from the basics upwards and getting more involved with the people working in various fields, I had begun to want to polish myself up and improve as a person as well."
