An original Team K girl (now with Team B ), who joined at the very young age of 10! Considering how long she's been a member now, she recently - at an age of 13 - was actually senpai to all the girls in Undergirls, with their song "Kimi no Koto ga Suki Dakara", found on AKB48's "RIVER" single!

With a naturally shy and quiet demeanor, she isn't the girl who steals the show, but when she does smile at you, you're hit with cuteness like Mike Tyson's hook and Mirko CroCop's left highkick. She is also half Japanese, and half Italian.

One would normally think that shy and quiet girls are not popular at all, but with the girls in AKB48, it seems everybody loves her (especially so Meetan, and Mariko) - and wants to take pics with her in their blogs quite often!

Recently, Akimoto have stated that he believes she's an ace, and will have a great future in AKB48. Well, fans of Maachan already knows she's an ace!

Looking at these pictures, Manami is slowly becoming my favorite in Team B.

Hi there, I just finished watching a bunch of AKBINGO! episodes in which this Oku Manami participated. Apart from her non-typically Japanese look, I noticed another thing - she doesn't smile very much. Most of the time she has this expressionless look on her face. Surprisingly, it is still super cute. Anyone else noticed this?
