Announced today at the end of their Road to Budokan special, first single with Fukuda, Kasai, Yagi, and Yofuu.

I really want to hear the new single.

I thought they could release it before their concert at the Budokan, but they have opted for later.

What will their theme be like?

I imagine that the first side A will be more energetic and the others more calm.

I love that they highlight the new "generation" with those gray suits. Runo's looks lighter, right?

The new outfits are so Angerme/MM.

Riko and Kisora being together in the second row makes me wonder if there might be a new sub-leader appointed in the group...?

I wish they don't just copy-paste what works for other groups because Tsubaki has that certain charm that other groups don't have, or have they given up on the tsubaki refined josei concept and made them like just every other HP rotational group?

I think tadase mentioned the outfits. BTW, since there hasn't been any Tsunku songs written for TF for a long time, it's safe to assume that we will not experience Just Try 2.0 in terms of the song.

So excited!!!! And a Triple A!!!! Hope the new members will get a solid introduction. They're all very talented!

I’m also not thrilled about the costumes though they do look very good in them. I’m hoping we get some cute outfits with the other songs on this release. Super happy to see the emphasis on the new girls. Can’t wait to hear what their new sound sounds like.

I'm really looking forward to this single, even if the costumes are ... less tsubaki than usual? 

 

I read on twitter than one of the versions is going to have solo songs for the new members, did I understand that right?? Really looking forward to getting to know them better, they have the right tsubaki vibes so i'm sure they'll fit right in !!

Yes! One of the versions says it's got 4 new member solo songs and also includes audition footage! I am very excited for that version. And yeah, the new members look like they really do fit in very well!

Also, about the outfits, if they want to give a chance for TF to change style once, I'm OK with that. However, if this is the first step towards J=J 2.0, no thanks. I prefer TF the old way much much more.

I really love the tsubaki sound, it would kinda suck if they pushed them to become "more mature" (lack of a better word) in their sound and look 

 

tbf though, for me the outfits don't matter much as long as the songs are as lovely as they usually are

I hope they don't change the typical TF style   Can't wait how they introduce the new members.  One single to focus on them or more

I hope they don't change the usual TF style, but at the same time if they change it a bit I'm also excited because it looks like they're working with really great composers for the songs, and they've got 4 really talented new members.   

 

I'm guessing it's going to be an anime-opening-like high-energy and dramatic song for "worthless diamond" (the lyricist and one of the composers makes music for anime, the other composer worked with SMAP and Arashi!!)

 

I feel like yakusoku,renraku,kinenbi (promise/contact/anniversary) is going to be a very feminine/Tsubaki/pop sound, but high energy -- the lyricist for this song wrote a lot of recent UF hits like oyogenai mermaid, vitamin me/go waist/now now ningen, va-va-voom, lovepedia and teion yakedo. Hoshibe Sho tends to compose high energy songs.

 

and "namida no heroine koban geki" (sorry, I can't translate this one so well, something about a heroine of tears and drama) is probably going to be like...a sad power ballad based on the lyricist. the composers have worked with like...Arashi, AKB48, and Super Junior so ...high expectations for this one.

I'm glad they announced something! I'm looking forward to seeing how the new members do mixed in with everyone.

Shall wait and see the other 2 songs' outfits to see if this is a total change for Tsubaki.

 

I have always like Tsubaki's soft feminine look for their image. It's like part of their brand and signature look.

Just like Country Girls, who always have the girl-next-door cutesy look. I like this kind of consistency.

I always have so much fear when they use new composer and lyrist. HP is totally unique by the nature of melodies and composition. I just don't want they loose that to become more "consensual/mainstream" or worst : "one time fast hit", rather than more difficult to love but very long term melodies memory ( don't know what words to use to explain).

I'm not worried at all. It's not the first time they get more cool than feminine looking outfits. Triple A are usually used to show different sides of a group and the two other titles scream Tsubaki to me.

So excited for the new gen solo songs. Wonder wich songs they will cover. Shiori's unique voice would be perfectly for Fuwari.
