In a recent KoharunLand entry, KK shares some of her Karaoke tunes:
In KK's past discussions about karaoke, she mentioned Ayumi Hamasaki among others. I realize that this time she’s just listing songs she enjoyed singing but I can’t help but wonder if some of these choices reflect some sort of role modeling for KK:
“Hirosue-san” is Ryoko Hirosue, the former teen pop idol who became a very successful TV and movie actress.
Again, maybe the mention of these two is a coincidence but maybe not. While I enjoy seeing KK’s career continue along the Shokotan track for now (though I’d rather not see KK doing gravure), she’s definitely capable of excelling in TV dramas or the movies like Ryoko.

Theme: BlogYesterday, for no special reason, I went out to karaoke after Oha Sta.
The songs I sang were:
Lots of Shokotan songs
Hirosue-san’s “Daisuki” and “Maji Koi 5”
Tampopo’s “Koi wo shichaimashita”
“Balalaika”
Stuff like that.
