FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY AS A H!P FAN!!!
Well well well, I knew that it was around Mid-October or November when I became a fan of Hello! Project.

I'm Charley, and I'll talk about my first experiences that I went through learning about the H!P world.
What first caught my eye was Ayaka's Surprise English Lesson. I was trying to learn some Japanese phrases to talk with my girlfriend more and I saw one of the ASEL videos. To this day, I forgot which one. Maybe it was one of Mari's, or Yossie's...Aibon's? Well whichever one of them I watched, it hooked me on instantly. I found out there was a whole series of ASEL, provided by moebiuz and his playlist: Ayaka Surprise English Lesson Playlist
I spent almost a week watching them all. I even watched them during my Student Aide class whenever I had free time (which was the whole duration). Of course I needed to learn the names of all the girls, since there was always a different one every couple episodes. This is where I went to Wikipedia. This was before I knew anywhere else to go to find any other info. I found out about generations, scandels, members, Tsunku, and many more. It was a vast amount of knowledge for me to take it, I practically dropped most things I was doing in life. (okay okay, don't panic, I didn't drop everything. I still kept my senior year of school intact...to an extent.

As time continues, I spent most of November and December on Youtube looking at all kinds of Morning Musume videos. My interest grew more and more day by day, watching subbed Utaban, Specials, Dramas, PVs, the list goes on and on. After my obsession affected my friend, he gave me a link to CrunchyRoll. I debated about going to CR before because I wanted to finish the vids on Youtube, but who knows how long that would take so I dove in. CrunchyRoll opened the fandom even more as I made friends and they made a group for Morning Musume, which is even now frequently active. I stayed on CrunchyRoll for most of December in January until....
I found Hello!Online~!!!! This site is amazing, good people and great downloads. It was my first experience into torrents and I downloaded like a madman. I went for all the old HPS subbed works first and everything smoothed itself out from there. I watched subbed vids like a little schoolgirl.

And with the help of all things online, I caught up to the current Gen of Morning Musume and came in a little bit after their 35th single, Mikan. The time for Momusu was up and down based from the opinions of other forum members, but I didn't mind much attention. Months later, I broaden to other groups like Berryz Koubou and C-ute. In time, I slowly chose the members who I like the most in each group give or take one or two of them in 1st/2nd place.

The TRACKER on H!O helped so much. From subbed groups works to the RAWS, it was interesting to download with a click of a mouse. I even witnessed lone subbers being recruited. (i.e. H!F) Learning about the ratio helped in downloading, especially when I don't have a delay.

Yep Yep, this past year has been most fun and very interesting. Lot of things happened in this past year in my experience on H!O, so I hope it'll be fun seeing what happens in the next year.
LOVING AICHAN FOREVER!
But yeah......
