I can't find anything about Riho auditioning for AKB and I don't trust my memory on this. A detail as important as this one should be easy to find in the Internet. I wonder where I picked this up.

None of the current or past members of H!P have auditioned for any 48er group. @MD: You picked up that Eripon had auditioned or "mistakenly auditioned for MM thinking it was an AKB48 audition" because it was April's Fools joke posted here at H!O. There have been several girls that after they auditioned and didn't make it for MM they auditioned and are now part of a 48er group, there is one that was part of an UFA group, quit and now is part of NMB48... The ones I remember are: - Umeda Ayaka, team K, first Lucky Seven audition, she won the audition but it was afterwards declared deserted and was not included. - Kashiwagi Yuki Team B captain, Happy 8 Audition, didn't pass 3rd round (such a shame, but she might have not been ready at the time) - Sato Sumire, Happy 8, went all the way to final 6, lost to Aika. - Nakayama Nana, now known as Yamada Nana, was part of SINA a Kansai based group from UFA, she quit to focus on her studies and then auditioned for NMB48.
I can't remember more, I know there have been others, maybe Krusha can enlight us here, he's much better versed on this topic than I am.
Yuki auditioned for 8gen?.. oh, it would have been funny to have Yuki and JunJun in MM at the same time XD ( or at least for me, because I think they resemble each other a lot physically speaking)

^ Don't think so, if there was such a girl with enough "talent" to be in S/mileage, not mentioning MM, auditioning for any 48er group be sure that Akimoto would take her... Besides, H!P rules wouldn't allow that to happen. They even fixed the rules after they learnt that Makoto had already been part of an indy group before and that Risa had been finalist to a Tommy Girl Jeans model pageant. So I don't think that any 48er auditioneer would go to MM or S/mileage auditions... it woould be interesting though... XD
Didn't Kojima Haruna audition for MM? I'm just assuming she did since she sort of 'revealed' that she'd rather be in MM than AKB on an episode of AKBingo, so I would assume she tried at least.
^ ^ I really doubt they would expel thousands of girls from an audition just because they took part in another one before. That doesn't make sense. Being in an indy group is a different matter.
^ Yeah, you are right, I also think that that rule is really dumb because they could be discarding potential #1s just because they had previous experience. If AKB48 would have had the same mentality we wouldn't have Oshima Yuko and a few others that come from other groups.
They won't be expelling any girl from the auditions, and girls most likely won't mention going through other auditions...
^ You made me want to see the Aki Matsuri again so I watched it and realized you forgot to mention Yuki / Ai × Anata ≧ Suki, which she also had sung there with Haruna. It can be clearly seen there that they really love H!P (Sasshii even said that H!P, and Ai-chan, are the best after that song, that idiot :D), so H!P fans shouldn't diss those girls.
^ ^I didn't forget it. Just felt pointless to post everything when I knew that to begin with no one would use the links, but one just have to do his duty for AKB no tameni.
Sashihara even said during the interview in her apartment in the Janken Taikai DVD that Yasuda Kei was her favorite idol, if I am not mistaken.
There's all this and the fact that AKB48 sang H!P songs at one of their concerts this year and some AKB members picked H!P songs to sing at the Karaoke event they held this year :3
