KY stands for Kuuki Yomenai. For one who doesn't understand the atmosphere and just do what he/she wants which will usually result in awkwardness.
I'm not sure if I'm explaining this correctly. I understand it myself but explaining it to others is another story :P

^ That's right from what I know. It's kind of like a random, idiotic character. Koharu was described as KY because she often couldn't sense the mood.
