@zeta2alien: I think Chisa has more power than Airi. And I suspect Airi realized that she lacks power, the proof is she tried to sounds 'heavy' in her perf with Aa! in Shuffle Date, unfortunately she failed and sounded like grunting instead of powerful..
Even Saho Akari has more punch in her voice than Airi. =/ (especially in lower range)

Airi is one of the best the best singers and dancers in H!P kids (if they can even be called that anymore) as for doing both at the same time and maintaining vocal control, but if we're talking about just vocal power, I think Chisato is good competition. :)

Hm i can say only haters haters....lol
Airi can give you such smooth Voice Power like a pure Angel she don't need powerful scratchy Voices like Chisatos or Sahos, everyone is diff. some people might love bad Voices, don't understand it even....lol (btw. i like Chisatos Voice but she needs a Voice whos more mature)

ie:
- I love erika and kanna's voice even though they're not good singer.
- Linlin has amazing style in ballads, but I don't like her voice.
You see? No bad voices, just each person preferences. Technique is what makes singer good or bad..
for example in Airi case: she is arguably has the best technique in H!P, but that doesn't necessarily mean she has the 'best' voice..

H! P Kids in my opinion:
Megumi: The best singer eternal
Airi: The best singer at the time, would only threat is if Megumi had stayed.
Miyabi: very nasal voice. Enough to be annoying at times, but are best singer of Berryz.
Chisato: A beautiful voice, but almost do not hear her sing because of its low popularity.
Risako:trembling voice and insecure
Masaa: male voice
Chinami: soft voice, without Expression. Not the singer.
Momoko: Children's Voice. Annoying most of the time.
Maimai: nasal voice
Maimi: nasal voice
Nakki: Voice sweet, cute. But it's not a singer.
Saki: distorted vocals. without personality.
It is my opinion. No intention to offend anyone. = D
