Ocha Norma

Q: What's something you think you've learned or gotten accustomed to in recent concerts?

Properly watching my surroundings
Though of course it's for the audience too, I thought it's important to watch over the members.

A method of doing makeup quickly.
I have a habit of normally taking my time on my makeup, and it always takes me about an hour and a half! If you add in the hair, it takes a full two hours!
Since if I do that I end up not finishing my makeup when time is short going into the dressing room before a release event, when I hurried to do it every time I naturally became quicker!!
Recently I've become able to finish within one hour!!
The point is deciding on the cosmetics I'll use and focusing on them.
(since I can't count how many things I've learned concerning performances, and since there are also things that are top secret only known to me, I won't tell you!!)

I've learned that when there are 10 of us, it's very difficult to keep us all matched and in order.
But I've learned a bit of a method of keeping us together by talking about it with everyone like "I think our choreography would become more uniform this way!"

How to sing, expressions, my own characteristics

How to fortify my bangs, how to create expressions, perfume scents to draw out motivation.
Also, endurance.
And solidarity within the group.

I've learned where to look and such from watching my senpai's videos.
The senpai I've been referencing is former Morning Musume member Sato Masaki-san!!!
I've been resarching a ton of how Sato Masaki-san's eyes move and such after she finishes singing solo parts!
It's not just sending her gaze into the camera, but I've also learned things like how with her dropping her eyes it expresses the bitterness of the song, as well as things like the way she expresses an air of coolness.
I also learned some new ways of appearing cool otherwise by things like looking to the side, and singing while gazing into the camera!

Something I think I've learned is the "smile".
Up until now if I had to say, I've been conscious that within the group I tend to do performances in a cool way, but I've been praised more and more with smiles from everyone who supports us, so recently in performances I too have been aiming to smile more. When I do, the audience also smiles as if responding to me, and so I've been able to start having conversations with a smile to a smile.

How to project my voice
Just changing how I project my voice when I'm singing gives me longer-lasting endurance, and so I've been able to sing without my voice faltering!
