It really is a great shot from the neck down. And it's certainly not that Shige doesn't usually have a pleasing-to-the-eyes face. But I can't fathom why the powers that be looked at that half-prepared smile and said "Yep, that one's going in the book." Well, odds are they were just looking from the neck down, too.
