I contend that she had a great deal of vocal talent before she got deep into the Kirarin Krapolution. She seemed to have gone from an okay singer to a pretty good singer, with a lot of steady progress, seemingly well on her way to being a great singer, And then by the time the second KR album came out, she had become a total weirdo, vocally. A friend of mine suggested that she was just too heavily adopting her anime character's personality.
I still like the girl, and my oh my is she getting gorgeous. But tracking her relatively short singing career is kinda depressing.

Freddie eyes and lips, indeed. And bad teeth.
But yes, she would have some vocal talent haha~ She was pretty bad, then got ok and then Kirarin Revolution stuff started to get more and more hysterical and Koharu became Kirari... sigh. I had hopes for her to be a cute but not an anime wannabe with Shige-senpai.
