Tokyo Shoujo (Drama, 2009) New show in which a young girl (Mano Erina) comes of age in the heart of Japan by standing in the right half of the frame displaying an emotion while her family, friends and everyone else in the episode stand behind her in the left half, staring. TONIGHT: "Ambiguity". Our hero's parents ask her if she knows who burned the family liquor store to the ground, leading to a distant, knowing stare and 40 minutes of the most unsettling silence ever.
