sometimes i actually stop to wonder if people these days are aware of the words "a little naughty yet annoying and so very bad sense of humour". it actually feels a bit as if you'd be acting rascist towards me and my rascist jokes : (( lemme mock down the girls in any way i want to, because hey, the more i mock, the more i love.

This whole idea about Kanna being lesbian surfaced due to her saying she likes girls on a radioshow, and her being just as affectionate as anybody else towards her fellow group members, if perhaps not more. That's not much to go by really. Then later we get multiple images of her apparently dating a Japanese guy.
Now, if she was lesbian, I wouldn't care one bit, and I wouldn't care one bit if she wasn't either - you are what you are. But eh, things lean heavily towards her being straight. Unless one of her lesbian hobbies is trying to stay incognito while closely hugging onto a random guy at her own age.

Well, like I said, dating a Johnny's guy doesn't prove a thing. I have a gay friend who dated masculine women for years while he was still in denial about his sexuality. So, I'm not fooled by Kanna being out with a lady-boy. But, it doesn't disprove anything, either, quite obviously. Plus, I was being somewhat facetious, as should have been apparent.
Act's like the ones under the Johnny’s umbrella are as old as the tide. They are designed to appeal to girls age 10-15, or so, and are designed to offer up a non-threatening sexuality and androgynous beauty. Once girls are old enough to fine strong masculinity sexy, and not scary, those type of boy acts loose a lot of their appeal, since those guys look like, well, girls. But, it sure makes money. Backstreets back, alright.
@Cutiepearl: I have to ask, who are you quoting, exactly? I'm pretty sure I wouldn't find that line in Bartlett's. ;-)

At any rate, some H!P fans consider her a lesbian because she said she liked girls and because she's of the clingy type. That's what I find stupid, not Kanna necessarily being lesbian stupid. It's stupid because H!P fans so often exaggerate things to great levels of retardation. I mean, there were people who believed that Aya and Miki were lesbians - just because of their silly image! Come on... grow up, please...
