I haven't been keeping up with local/USA trends, so I didn't know that those glasses were actually "brought back" and dubbed as "Kanye West Glasses". I kinda wish they stayed back then, though.
When I saw this pic of Tanaka, I originally thought of "The Last Dragon" (<--an old and super cheesy movie that my older bros used to watch, even the names were cheesy...Bruce Leeroy?). Then I saw all these comments about "Kanye West Glasses", and I was like..."what the? Kanye?"

Yeah, these sunglasses are from 30 years ago. They are 1980's New Wave.
How horrific that only the worst fashion trends from the past seem to come back. However, I have high hopes for the high-top fade haircut to make a revival sometime soon.
