Come on people, she has a nice attitude and she can be pretty favorable at times.
But can she sing!? I mean, seriously. They call her 'the miracle member' -- but SHE CANT EVEN SING! Isn't Momusu a SINGING group?

I'm not attacking her or anything, I'm just trying to figure out if people do think she has a bad singing voice or if it's just me.

MM is no longer all about singing if Kusumi is up in the front all the time. It's about being popular. Being an idol. Morning Musume isn't a singing group, it's an idol group, and it has been for years.

^I agree to that, MM is no singer group theyare idols. H!P is graduading all their singers now. Your opinion about koharu isn't worth more than anyone elses. Just try to compare any of current MM's idols's singing with professional singers like Hamasaki Ayumi, they far from that.
And u are bashing koharu since it seems u only talk about what she can not do, why don't u mention things she can do at once? She can play with the crowd, entertain people. She's not a worse singer than Sayumi, Eri, or Takahashi. I think the only reason you alvays mention how 'bad'' she is to piss people off. Maybe I shoud bash all other members except koharu instead of praising her just like u do and call it 'my opinion as a fan'. Why don't you and risa just shut up?

I agree with SS. Please stop. You are just hurting those who are fans of her. Everyone got their own opinions. I could start arguing with SS about his opinions about how good Koha is as a singer now, but it's just pointless. One's opinion isn't a fact. Show some respect and try to ignore it if you can't agree with someone. Or at least put it in a better way if the other user is willing to discuss it.
I think it's just great that there's people finding happiness from what Koha is doing. Don't take it away from them.
This is probably the second worst place to post about these opinions after the official Koha thread on the forums. And one more thing, please update your post instead of making new one's after each other.

As an idol, I prefer her with the mature look (like when she was in Tanjou 10nen Kinentai), but her current look is what sells right now--and it's what fits her personality most, I presume.

If you don't like a certain member in one group.
I suggest you start ignoring them, pretend they're not there no matter how much UFA try to force her into your face.
Just concentrate to the ones you like.
It isn't Koharu's fault when UFA is pushing her to the front, I felt sorry for that girl most of the time anyways.
Just keep ignoring. Works for me. And it's more peaceful that way.

That´s how it is in MM indeed, and that´s why unfortunately certain dumbass people who never end this debate about Koharu will never get it. Those girls will always be idols first, and singers second. They´re maybe trained to be a perfect idol more than a perfect singer, I guess. I´ve noticed Tsunku even chooses purposely the ones that are not great singers but average or below singers anyway, at auditions. It´s indeed foolish and stupid to think and expect MM to be an OMGAWSUM singing group. They´re an idol group in the singing category, to be precise.

You have made your tastes pretty visible, so yes I am certain that most recognize you as resident Koharu hater - and that's fine - we all have our tastes. But, it's not necessary to voice them ad infinitum ad nauseum in every image commentary field so to speak. It gets pretty much way too boring.
You argue that she has no voice and is not a good singer - look, this is an utterly retarded argument to bring forth, given how Hello!Project as a whole is an idol family supposedly consisting of every-day average-girls made into being idols. In other words, the baseline and its standards are pretty low from the onset as compared to others, say superstars that are actual singers.
So why bother these inane arguments?
Is it to get attention? To "prove a point"? Because if it is, you must be really bored. And honestly, if it is to somehow win debates then I recommend you studying philosophy and logic, and then engage in debate with fellow philosophers and/or scholars-- the challenge level in doing so is far greater than saying "Koharu is a bad singer!! UR RONG IM RITE!". Unless of course this is the level of intellectual stimulation you reside on - what do I know?
So guys - we all have our differences, but let's be somewhat mature, atleast try, ok?
Otherwise I'll just delete all these flame-threads and quite possibly disable commenting as a final measure.

Who cares if she can sing or not?
Like people have said she is an "Idol". I love her because she doesn't let her singing get in her way and she keeps performing with more energy than most members and keeps smiling! She is also cute, even witht hoses weird faces she pulls xDDDD
P.s. When i say "Doesn't let her singing get in the way" i'm not saying she's a bad singer personally i like her voice. Many will disagree. lol

ilove-momuse...you are not the only one who feel/think that way....although i agree with you, i wouldn't advice you to try to prove your point, i think the facts is outthere speak for itself, however if people can not see it, then that's fine, don't lose sleep over something like this..., you know this argument has been going on for ages...i think it's never going to stop.... so my advice to you, just ignore it and move on.

^totally agree with Shining Star. it's hard sometimes to refrain from an argument(i'm probably the worst at it) but in the end, it's for the best. as for koharu's singing. the more i hear her, the more i like her singing. it's suits her. and as for MM, their singing will probably never compare to say, celine dion, but i find that their music sparks emotions within me, that no other performers can. maybe it's because i've seen how hard they work, and the dedication to their fans.
long story short. koharu is a great singer and morning musume is an amazing group. the end.
