Does this mean that they've had to place her on the cover of FREE magazines to try and get her popularity back??

^I don't think this is to "get her popularity back", even though she's left Momusu she's still very, very popular. The mixi ratings for August 2008 show that she's the third most popular girl in H!P, and her fanclub has actually grown a bit, so I don't think she has anything to worry about. :)
