by the time of this picture she was still wearing bandages because of her recent apendecitis (?) operation so she coulnd't wear high heels or she would have hurt herself and as far as I know she should not wear heels for at least a year to be on the safe side about healing properly, though I'm not sure about the proper lenght of time.
