Well. Just as a point, Maimi is younger than Erika, but she's the leader of C-ute. I think the Miyabi is the leader of Buono!, out of all the shots that I've seen of the group, I don't think that Momoko has been in the middle once, it's always Miya. Maybe they didn't plan a leader when they formed a group, but Miyabi has definetly been portrayed as the leader.

like so in C-ute Airi is portrayed as the leader yet she isnt
same with Berryz
its usually Risako or Miyabi but its Saki the girl in the back
and with Buono!
Miyabi is center but she just gets the close ups for popularity puposes
more miyabi more money for UFA
so its usually popularity.
Look at MM
its only Reina Ai and Koharu
they have most of the fans (from perspective)
the leader is usually determined by the age
Erika was supposed to be but she declined so its Maimi Second Oldest
Oldest is Saki in Berryz
and son on
so Momo is oldest in Buono! so there you have it
