It's winter, therefore my fashion is hoodies and jeans.

FB probably stands for "FINE BOYS" which is the magazine's name if I'm not totally mistaken. I seem to have read that someplace.

Oh and J-fashion is really awesome. :D

Well the difference between Western and Japanese clothing is that with people in Western countries, they buy the clothes that everyone else is buying(like the north face) and then they think they are trendy for it. For Japanese styles though it pretty much involves buying anything with a random english word or phrase on it, so they can look "american"

^ Oh god, let's not start fashion arguments like this. I think though fashion goes beyond Japanese people wanting to look American and Western culture people dressing bitchy. For Japan, it just has a different culture and as idols and famous people dress more crazily it influences the public to dress similarly. Japan is just generally more extreme with their fashion styles than Western culture for some reason. I'm sure there are a lot of reasons behind it we're not aware of that we can only speculate.

And back to the picture, Airi is so adorable in that outfit! :D

How does bitchy describe fashion, by the way?

i think "bitchy" might refer to the more confident image that western fashion tends to portray nowadays. i dunno about calling it bitchy, women in the west just want to dress more like women than children. i'm not saying airi should dress just like western girls do, but i really wish japanese girls would stray away from this trend that's all about wearing everything you have in your closet in one outfit.

I will say there is this difference between western and japanese fashion that no one can deny: japanese culture as a whole is okay with older women keeping the 'kawaii' and girly look. for example, its totally acceptable for tsuji to be viewed as a proper mother and wife, but she can still dress adorably, with lace and bows and other things. in america, she would be looked down on as being childish. i find that very sad about our american culture, that were all in such a rush to grow up. for this reason, i like to shop on yesstyle.com to find more feminine yet professional clothes. in america, there really is no such style mixing professional with girliness. also, a lot of western fashion is all about showing skin, when i can find a lot more in japanese fashion that is modest, yet still adult, AND cute :)

Sockbeam's description of "this trend that's all about wearing everything you have in your closet in one outfit" quite literally describes the way I dress on a daily basis... X'DDDDDDDDDD;;; <333`

I LOVE this outfit.
