It's kinda sad when even lesser known AKB idols can get magazine spreads and Hello Project does very little to promote its girls individually :(

^ Lately, kenkyuusei have been promoted really well. They even have their own TV show and Paruru is one of the most popular of her generation. But yeah, with Kikkawa Yuu being the only girl left in H!P that I'm a fan of, I agree. H!P has this habit of starting off a new group/solo artist, promoting them for a year, then forming a new group and forgetting the last one while most girls just languish in obscurity forever. AKB48 on the other hand is really good at promoting girls on their own. The only ones who haven't been promoted all that well are the older girls who didn't really get all that popular in the early days but they've been making up for that in a big way lately. Theatre girl Ucchi as centre and they still sell nearly 500k in the first day. It's crazy. Also, Shiichan being pushed into front girl status after all this time took me by surprise.

Is it because the girls are all assigned to different talent agencies? It probably means AKB48 itself doesn't have to spend as much on individual promotion as they could need to otherwise. It's pretty clever, I wish H!P would pay more attention to this...so many awesome girls just wasted. But anyway, this girl is really cute! :D

^Yup, but not all of them. They kinda need to make a name for themselves to get signed into a good agency, and kenkyuusei don't get agencies until they get promoted. But since AKB is at the top and no one will graduate xD the management needs to promote these girls too.

^ That's what's bringing H!P down... Up-Front Group owns everything from their talent agencies to recording companies and all is ruled by senile management...
