Pro Tip : Google is a wonderful resource and tool. Seriously, never ask anybody anything without first doing at least a cursory Google search. It makes a person look bad. You and I are older than most of the people here and we may have the notion of "asking to save time". I agree that it's the best way. But from experience, it's better to do a quick Internet search first (instead of asking someone).
That doesn't mean, "Don't talk to me." In general, it's about respecting the other guy's time. It would take JoeBob longer to explain something to you (or anybody else) than it would be for you to look it up. But, if it's "non work or non informational", let's talk! We're almost Best Friends Forever (in our case, not in the general situation).
