Perhaps the gesture itself conveys a deeper meaning that is not immediately clear to the untrained eye. Perhaps the angelic theme disguises a far more sinister and unnerving motif. The collar hints at captivity and confinement, the creepy eyes placed inconspicuously between the letters at the bottom convey vigilance and watchfulness. Behind her slight smile one can almost sense a longing for freedom, a small, inextinguishable spark of hope to break free one day, a subtle voice silently crying: "Help me!" …
