La'aKea, I am going to go ahead and agree with you, there. I cannot say much since I have only been a Reina Tanaka fan since July of 2009 (Anime Expo Concert woo!), but I feel as if the glitter thing might be a little bit overdone. I saw the "flets diary" video a while back and enjoyed it, but I too realized that Reina's been using it for 5 years now. I also like Reina with black hair rather than lighter shades of hair... though, photos of her with the blonde streaks mixed in her light brown hair are quite refreshing. Think, Nanchatte Renai and appearance at Anime Expo, type of black. Always dug the twin-tails though. :3Oh well, I wasn't saying that she must drop the cuteness/glitter and become a boring adult (noooooo! don't drop the cutenessss!
). But other girls have had a change in appearance. Ai cut her hair a few years back, now Gaki. Just seems to me like Reina didn't change much. Maybe she could use the glitter in another way by wearing sparkling hair clips, rather than applying the glitter directly to her hair.
I agree that it suits her style, since she seems to be more into girly fashion than the others (I mean the accessories, sometimes a bit of gyaru style thrown in it). I was just saying that now it's been the same for so many years that if she changed her hairstyle, it could be sthg good too. And then everyone would go "omg, this new hairstyle is so freaking awesome!! she's so cute like this, blah blah" just like with Gaki ^^
PS: I don't want to go to Mittsi's thread cause I bet that ppl there are saying that the pulled-up-bangs are her trademark and me does not like that hairstyle
Also, if you want to learn some Hakata-ben! Haha. I do enjoy the fact that it's in Hakata-ben though, I guess I like to hear a little bit of extra flavor in my foreign languages
