About Me

I started loving anime about 4 years ago, after a friend recommended I should watch Bleach. Watched alot of different shows over the years. The only J-drama I have found interesting enough to watch though was the live action version of Great Teacher Onizuka. I have seen all Death Note movies and Prince of Tennis live action movie also though.

Slowly as I watched more and more anime I began to love different aspects of Japanese culture more and more. Starting with their language, then their songs and then their habbits. At first I just loved the different songs to anime. The first complete soundtrack that I adored was My-Hime OST. The first artist that I tried listening to (more than just the featured song from the anime) was Maximum the Hormone (pretty heavy compared to Hello Project! XD). After about 3 months I discovered YUI and my God is she awesome...still my favourite artist as of now. It took me a couple of more years to get into j-pop as a whole and not just the ones I loved from being openings/endings.

Then somewhere along the way I stumbled upon Hinoi Team with Night of Fire, lol'ed so much @ the little chubby wrestler in the video XD After some time listening a little to Night of Fire and Iké Iké I somehow found SweetS with Lolita Strawberry in Summer. Had mixed feelings at first about the small girls acting way too adult in the video (never really gave it a second thought with Hinoi Team, cause they didn't look that young I guess, and also they were just dancing and smiling looking happy... not super serious and wannabe grownup popstars) and especially that video (Lolita Strawberry in Summer) the girls getting accessorized so much, made me think alot like "aren't they still kids or young teenagers, is this really what is fun for them?". But after some getting used to the thought I accepted it (still don't like the video that much but don't mind it either). What helped was also their song "Love Like Candy Floss". My God it is just so damn catchy and uplifting for my taste and like the video alot more even though there is a problem again (this time with the seemingly 6 years older guy she is supposed to be in love with ). But regardless I grew to love them, and their songs.
Shortly after that a friend showed me a youtube clip of girls with masks dancing to hardcore J-pop (think he meant it as a joke but I found it really fascinating XD), and through some clicking around I stumbled upon xxxayu3 @ youtube. Through her dancing videos I discovered Berryz Koubou, C-ute and Buono! ... I even had to listen to the lyrics the best I could and try to google them in romanji to find out anything about the songs, because I can't read kanji and I was determined to know the name of the songs and artists cause they were so damn good! :P

So I have been around the genres of Japanese music (far from all of them I know and still hope to find new a more exciting stuff later on. Also alot of bands/artists I listen to now and have listened to along the way who I didn't mention here XD) and somehow came to this point where I'm just hooked on Buono, Berryz and C-ute. So for now I'm just DL'ing loads of stuff with them. As a groupe I like Buono! the best, somehow I feel like they got the best chemistry but as for the music I have no favourite band cause they have all made around 4-5 REALLY great songs so why choose? XD Favourite singer though is Airi (C-ute/Buono!) Followed by Momoko (Berryz/Buono!)

I'll be sure to leave most of my downloads in torrent for seeding but I can't really contribute with any vids myself as I am just a fan with no connection to Japan other than my love for their music :itadakimasu:

Also I will probably hardly be posting in the forum. Not that I don't wanna share my love for HP! but as for now I'm content sharing it with my friends (whom I also manage to hook up on this music :D) and I also love playing Dota (got several forums to keep my eye on there), watching anime, movies, reading manga, chilling alot of youtube also and loads of other stuff so who knows, maybe I will be active forum at some point but right now I doubt it XD
