About Me

Well, right now I'm all about Morning Musume and getting my tickets/reservations to see them in July. I've got my crew, and we're working on plane tickets and hotels as you read this.

I have a pretty major crush on Eri Kamei, so getting to finally see her in real life is going to be pretty boss. We'll even be the same age by the time the convention comes around. hurr hurr. You wotas better watch out, because me and my crew are gonna be lookin' sharp for those girls, lol.

When it gets down to it, I wasn't aware of Morning Musume until 2007. I only looked them up, because I saw a picture of Rika Ishikawa online and read that she was a part of a group called Morning Musume. Being a fan of J-Pop anyways, I thought, "Why not take a chance and hear how they are." So I did. Alot of people say that "Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari" was their first MM song, but mine was actually "Sexy Boy". And for not being a fna of those techno-ish songs, I pretty much fell in love. I did what research I could and discovered Sayumi Michishige, who was my first favorite Musume.

And then I stopped looking up their music.

It wasn't until late November of '08 that I really got into them. Like, no other. After not liking classic songs like "Love Machine" and "Renai Revolution 21", I was suddenly getting my hands on all of their music that I possibly could. And let me tell you... it was pretty boss.

More research ensued. I discovered the meaning of generations and noticed the members as separate people to one big group of... idolness? And that was when I figured out that Reina Tanaka and Eri Kamei were sixth generation members alongside Sayumi. Up until that day I thought the other two "mystery" girls from the 6th gen. audition simply didn't pass.

But I was wrong. And I was so glad to be wrong.

The 6th generation is definitely my favorite, followed by Gaki and Jun Jun (of current members).

And, well, how can you just not love these girls? I'm glad that after the drop-off of '07 I finally went back. Curious does tend to get the best of me. And Thank God Eri was a mystery to me, otherwise I never would have researched further.

Seriously.

Eri Kamei=win.
