The Carmageddon situation was mostly hype. They are supposed to do it again next summer. Maybe I will drive down there, just to see what it is like! There was a museum, the Hammer Museum, that let people in for free in honor of the shutdown. Kinda strange, but for some reason, they did it. I am at a conference in Pittsburgh now.

Nice to hear from you! They are shutting down 10 miles of the I-405 freeway this weekend to remove a bridge. Because they expect such delays in traffic, they are promoting it as "Carmageddon"!
