About Me
Probably Morning Musume's oldest fan in age terms (hell, I'm even older than Tsunku)!
First got into J-pop back in 2000 when I was listening to the audio on a flight to Hong Kong and tuned in to the J-pop channel. 'Tora Tora Tora' by Max kept coming around as I drifted off to sleep and when in Hong Kong I decided to buy a couple of Japanes CDs - one was a Max album and the other was a compilation.
As Max moved away from it's dance roots I found BoA (yes I know she is Korean but I liked her Japanese stuff) which was great for a few years until she started sounding American to break into that market. I listened to a few groups but nothing appealed and then I bought the 10th Anniversary MM album and immediately loved it so much that I went an ordered a couple more albums that first day. I don't think I can listen to them without their sound making me smile. At my age I am supposed to listen to 'serious' music - but I prefer fun and happy any day!
Saw Morning Musume in concert when they visited Paris, and I first visited Japan in 2011 but only know a few words of Japanese.
What I listen to
Morning Musume
Perfume
Wonder Girls
Loverush UK
Other H!P groups
